As a European health platform, our mission is to make personal health data secure, understandable and usable in a data-sovereign way. We combine the possibilities of the latest technology with an uncompromising focus on security, privacy and control over your own data.
Is BodyWision secure? The security of your data is BodyWision's top priority. All health data is stored locally and only you have access - even the BodyWision team cannot read it. BodyWision is being developed as a European health platform with encrypted storage, EU hosting for backups and a clear Privacy by Design approach.
Who is behind BodyWision? BodyWision is based in Austria and developed by a team in Vienna. Behind BodyWision are founders with many years of experience building complex digital information systems. BodyWision cooperates with medical universities, doctors and Medical Advisors. This is how we combine technological innovation with medical expertise. We see ourselves as a European, data-sovereign platform for personal health data — and as a deliberate alternative to US-dominated, data-driven platform models where the use or sharing of personal information is often part of the business model.
Who can read my data? Only you can read your stored health data. BodyWision does not sell data, does not share it for advertising purposes and does not use it for AI training. When you use AI features, only the content needed for your request is processed and it is not stored permanently by an AI provider.
Why use BodyWision if my health records are already stored elsewhere? Existing health records, patient portals and digital health systems are important foundations. BodyWision does not replace them; it helps make the information they contain more useful for you. In BodyWision, you can securely bring together medical reports, documents and your own health information from different sources, then have them organized and explained clearly in their overall context. This helps BodyWision support you individually with questions, doctor visit preparation and orientation, instead of leaving your health information scattered across separate files, portals or downloads.
Why not just use ChatGPT & Co.? ChatGPT & Co. are general AI systems. BodyWision is specifically built to manage your health records securely, structurally and transparently over the long term. The BodyWision AI Health Coach takes your own documents into account in context and traces explanations back to your records. This gives you more specific orientation for your personal health — instead of general answers without personal context.
How is BodyWision different from other health apps? Many health apps focus on individual areas such as fitness, nutrition, symptoms or appointments. BodyWision takes a broader approach: medical documents, reports, your own information and AI-supported explanations come together in one secure place. The goal is not just tracking, but understanding: you should be able to better interpret, find and use your health information.
What is the AI Health Coach? The AI Health Coach helps you better understand and meaningfully use your health information. You can ask questions about your documents, recognize connections more easily and prepare for next steps or doctor visits. Unlike Google or ChatGPT, the BodyWision AI Health Coach can take your securely stored health data into account in context and therefore give you more specific and relevant answers to health questions. BodyWision does not replace doctors; it helps you deal with your health in a more informed and better prepared way.
How good are the AI answers? We are working to make AI answers as understandable, helpful and reliable as possible. To do this, we are developing BodyWision together with doctors from practice, Medical Advisors and medical universities — and use advanced AI models in protected enterprise environments for AI features. Still, it is important to remember: AI can make mistakes. BodyWision is designed to make your own health records easier to understand and to provide orientation. The app does not replace medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
Does BodyWision provide medical diagnoses? No. BodyWision does not provide diagnoses and is not a diagnostic medical device. BodyWision helps you better understand and organize your medical records and prepare for doctor visits. The app provides orientation based on your own health records, but it does not replace medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Medical decisions, clarifications or actions should always be made together with doctors.
Can I use BodyWision for my family or loved ones? Yes. With the profile feature, you can manage health information for your family and loved ones separately and use BodyWision features for your children or relatives who need care. Important: If you use BodyWision for other people, this may only be done with their consent. Privacy and data sovereignty are central parts of the BodyWision vision. The same applies to family profiles: health data remains securely encrypted, private and under your control.
What does Early Access mean? Early Access means that you can use BodyWision at an early stage as one of the first users. You get access to the first available version, can try out core features, and help us improve BodyWision with your feedback. Participation in Early Access is free. As an Early Access user, you also get access to a direct communication channel with the BodyWision team in Vienna — for updates, questions, and feedback.
How much does BodyWision cost? BodyWision is currently in Early Access. Participation in Early Access is free. All users can try BodyWision free of charge for 7 days. As an Early Access user, you receive a special benefit after this trial period: You get 2 months of BodyWision Premium for free — instead of the regular €9.90 / $9.90 per month, with no commitment and no payment details required. If you would like to continue using BodyWision afterwards as a companion for your health data and documents, you also receive a 50% discount on further use. Important: No paid membership is created without your active consent. Your structured and prepared data remains secure. You can view it at any time and — where the respective feature is available — export or delete it.
